I've long been anticipating Jollibee to come out with a card-based membership program for its patrons. I was just glad that its company recently launched the Happy Plus card which can also be used in Jollibee's sister companies like Red Ribbon and Chowking.

Simply Happy

The Happy Plus cashless rewards program works like any other point-based promotion. There's nothing complicated about it because if you availed of one, chances are, you regularly eat at Jollibee or its sister companies at least twice a week. Its website even has a budget suggestion of P300 for you to load in your Happy Plus card if you eat at least 3 times a week in any of its participating fast food outlet. You just have to use the card in your purchases to earn points. To enable your credit for purchases, simply maintain P100 in your card.

The Sad Part of Happy Plus

I tested my Happy Plus card a day after purchasing it but the participating Chowking branch where I used it turned me down because the machine designated for the transaction was not working. The experience made me feel that not all my purchases using the card will earn points as a result. It's not like I eat at Chowking everyday.
